What Do You Think Is Wrong With Inter

1 week after the defeat away from by FC Porto, Inter Milan's woes continues with yet another defeat, this time at home to struggling Roma 3-2.
What are you guy's opinion on the problems with Inter, they certainly got the super stars, but why arent they winning trophies?
I am no Inter fan, but I am certainly a fan of the Serie A, its sad to see a club of such sature failing to perform every year. -
not really sure too..
but i do know that Adriano was injured and out for the Roma game.. had a shoulder injury.. maybe that explains why Inter hasn't been blazing on all guns..
Secondly.. i read in some papers that there might have been some internal-conflicts between the south america contingent inside Inter milan.. before the champions league defeat to Porto..
After the World Cup Qualifying campaign.. the South American Players were to report back to Inter on Thursday.. all the players returned back on time.. except Adriano, who reached Inter late Friday..
Juan Sebastian Veron wasn't that pleased and confronted Inter's president on this..
Not too sure if this is true or not.. or might be jus another tabloid news..

Serie A fan here too.
If you have been following Inter Milan, you will know that they are always in trouble. Although they have the money and good players, they didn't win the Serie A for the last how many years already.
Somehow I feel that their teamwork isn't there. And they are freaking inconsistent.
For players who went to Inter thinking that they can help it win the Serie A trophy, I actually felt sad for them. The players are namely Italy internationals, Christian Veiri, Canavaro, Toldo, Roberto Baggio -
I think Roma is a strong team so nothing wrong with inter milan.

Roma was a strong team.. but they are currently struggling for any sort of form..
Cassano wants out.. Totti not playing well (although he did scored against Lazio).. it's quite a surprise that they can beat Inter at San Siro..
Inter are perennial underachievers.. similar to the Aston Villas or Tottenham Hotspurs of the EPL... -
got sign figo and scolari but still so disappointing, the problem is they like to play julio cruz up front too much, should play recoba

It's really strange that they have not won the title since 1989. They are a team of great players. Not only quality but quantity as well. Without Adriano, they have Martins, Cruz, Recoba. Definitely no lack of quantity in the strikers department. I believe about the internal conflict thing though. I guess that's what happens when there are too many national team players in the team, especially when there are Argentinians and Brazilians. A team like Inter shouldn't even lose to the likes of Juve or Milan at home, let alone Roma. Title contenders every season, but always disappointment for their fans. Sad.

I think that the problem lies with the players' ego, they dont work or play as a team, well maybe some of them, a few years ago when Lippi was in charge of Inter, he said that most of the Inter players were arrogant and that they have the superstar mentality.
Indisipline is also a factor, but maybe an Inter fan would be the best person to tell us what he thinks is wrong with his beloved club :-) -
they lack discipline man..too many south american players..not known for hard work..

too many pple underestimated roma........but I agree that roma have defence problem but their goal scoring record is great.

maybe they need a new style of manager to change all that mentality... bring in fergie maybe?

They just need to poach Jose Mourinho from Chelsea.
Inter is basically a club where the aristocrats congregate. The incentive to join Inter is money, money and more money. The club players have lost the interest in winning trophies.
And with it, the basic principle of playing competitively.
Massimo Morrati should step down and let someone hungry for trophies take over. He's splurged enough of his millions on the club and got zero returns for it. -
Last season is they Attack good,Defence suck this season i'm not very sure but i think is under-achieving players..
lol this season attack also not very good compared to other power houses like Juve and city rivals AC milan..score 6 goals in 11 games and let in 7.. but if you take a look at the Italian Serie A table u noticed that actually scoring 6 can be considered somehow average though..

By the way,you guys remember that Robbie Keane used to play for Inter in 2000/2001? Haha,he did play well for a while and scored a few goals but then there was a change of management and Keane was relegated to the bench.THere were 6 strikers vying for 2 places at that time.(I think Ronaldo,Keane,Hakan Suker,Cruz,Recoba,Vieri)He left soon after.
Anyway,Inter reminds me of a club from N.England who have not won the league since around the same time as Inter. -
