Serie A: Milan end Juve's perfect season start
AC Milan ended Juventus' 100 per cent start to the season as they romped to a 3-1 victory over the Serie A leaders in the San Siro on Saturday evening.
First-half goals from Clarence Seedorf, Kaka and Andrea Pirlo helped the home side in to an unassailable lead, and although David Trezeguet pulled a goal back in the 76th minute, Milan saw out a crucial win.
Brazilian forward Kaka scored the goal of the match, smashing home a volley from inside the penalty area after Pirlo's free-kick had been only half-cleared.
The result cut Juventus' lead at the top of the table to just two points, with Milan second, six points ahead of city rivals Inter in third.
At least serie a is not as one sided in epl as chelsea will run away wth the title yet again and henry is leaving arsenal for barcelona. looks like chelsea will dominate epl for the next 10 years at least
Thats what makes the Serie A a more exciting competition compared to the EPL. I am a Juventus supporter and certainly am disappointed with the result, but credit to AC Milan who oozed class in every department. In terms of yesterday's match, Milan deserved their victory and clearly outplayed Juve. Kaka, Pirlo and Sheva are certainly players i admire in the Milan team, and they certainly showed again that they are quality players. Good work Milan, Buck up Juve!!
But i have to disagree that yesterday's match is an indication of whether who is going to win the title at the end of the season. After this victory Milan may have the psychological advantage, but to say that the title is going to Milan is certainly premature. As for Chelsea's case, i still felt its also abit premature to say that Chelsea has sewed up the title.
