Hearts of Midlothian succumbed 2-0 to fellow Edinburgh rivals Hibernian at the latter's Easter Road ground last night. Celtic have a chance to grab top spot tonight on goal difference if they beat Dundee United tonight.
I hope Hearts will not suffer too much from the loss of George Burley. He did a fine job during his short tenure of 11 matches.

in scottish football, I follow Rangers, and I am saddened by the fact that they are fourth in the table, and had already lose 3 matches. Over the weekend, they could only muster a 1-1 draw at home. i think their european commitments have somehow taken the wind out of them. Anything other than a top two finish will be unexpectable for Rangers, and Alex McLeish may find himself sacked if things don't improve.
