  Bayern has withdrawn any contract offers. Ballack will almost certainly leave for a small fee this January or walk for free end of this season.
  
  Such a talented player like Ballack will be useful in most teams. Manchester United as a replacement for Keane? Arsenal to replace Viera? Real Madrid? Or maybe an Italian side?
  
  Where do you think he should go and why?

  Hmmm... England will be good pale for Ballack. I would love to see him go to Man U or even Arsenal but not Real Madrid. Haven Real got enuff star players aready? Haha.

  i hope he goes to man utd too... it's like every great player wants to go real. i think he should do something different.. go to man utd and change their fortunes. man utd is a much humbled team nowadays i hope he goes there

  gravesen is going back to everton in january. there is a clause in the contract that gives everton the right to sign him back.

  Not many germans venture abroad...with the exception of Andreas Brehme and Lothar Matheus (Inter) and Oliver Bierhoff (Milan) ..
  
  In England, Klinnsman was a big hit (spurs) and currently robert huth plies his trade with Chelski.
  
  Won't be surprised if he stayed in Germany or performed a 'Steven Gerrard' with Bayern.

  Any league can only benefit with the arrival of one of Europe's top mifdfielders.
  
  Already linked with Man U, Old Trafford seems to be the most likely destination in England if he truly decides to leave Bayern. Ballack's game around aggression should see him fit nicely in the EPL.
  
  For me, I think he should leave Bayern. Afterall, he's no longer young and this could be the perfect opportunity for him to move abroad and seek new challenges. Be it in Spain, Italy or England, the general level of play is widely agreed to be of a higher standard than the Bundesliga.

  We saw a glimpse of the Lampard-Ballack showdown last season in the UCL. It was certainly intriquing.
  
  Ballack's arrival at Old Trafford could spell the end of Paul Scholes, who's form has been going down hill for the past 2-3 years.
