Football Weekly proclaims itself as the only local newspaper dedicated to footie news.
OK,I bought a copy to see what is inside.
Crap man.All the stuff are nothing new.The writers cut and paste from websites/other newspapers mostly.
Out of the 40 pages,around 10 pages are adverts!
$2 for 40 pages of crap!
For those punter uncles with no internet access,if sell $0.80 then is a reasonable price coz compared to TNP 5-6 pages of equally crappy footie news for $0.70. -

some of the soccer news in the new paper r from soccernet, and they are not new news anymore, due to the internet, available 24 hrs anytime anywhere.

most the things we can get online. buying such publications are mostly a waste of money.

ya lor, esp the newpaper, the contents on soccer r becoming stale and 1 or 2 pages focusing on so called expert analysis and tips, which in the first place, they are just like us, arm chair critics abeit working as journalists. i prefer news or analysis from england or uk, rather by local journalists. you will find a different level of writing when compared to local journalist. probably our mother tongue is not english, thats why expression is not as good as them.Originally posted by dragg:most the things we can get online. buying such publications are mostly a waste of money.

Last season,Sat's TNP still got 1 page on Liga and Serie A,now gone liao!
