You dont heard much news about him scoring? Well thats because he dont play in the EPL, so much news in world football is all about the EPL and their players, even other players perform like no tomorrow, they get very little publicity.
No doubt there are some wonderful players playing in the EPL, but besides the EPL, there are wonderful players playing in other leagues as well. Watch more of other leagues, broaden your perspective. No chance to watch other leagues? Well then I suggest dont comment on them if you dont watch them often, thats not very fair hehe.
Remember soccer is not just about EPL and England, its about everything. Even the lower leagues of the Arabian league. If I have offended you with my comments, then I apologize beforehand, trust me, there is no intent on my part to start a war of words with you.

there were reports of a 60M move during the previous window..but i doubt he will fit into the chelsea formation,cause they will play him as a lone striker..

its a good thing they did not sign shevchenko. he is too old. owen is a better bargain at 25.

Initially the boss said want to sign Shevchenko as a surprice gift for Mourinho. But then at the end never.
I believe Chelsea really need a super striker, so that the top scorer is not always Lampard.
Shevchenko is only 29/30, even the old papaya Roy Kean has so many people want. -

o wow I am getting blast here maybe i don't know much about italian striker and maybe I was wrong about shevchenko but I know David Trezeguet and adriano is a very good striker.

shevchenko plays with another striker alongside him which makes things easier as he do not need to carry soo mcuh burden of holding up the ball etc..thats y he might not fit into the chelsea system..

Unlike Owen, who only wait for the ball in the box. So, if supply good, he can score, but if no supply...he blur blur and don't know do what.
So, I guess Owen is what Liverpool needed desperately, Liverpool's supply very very good, but the strikers......especially the giant..... -
I think they should get zlatan imbrahimovic. Suit their way of playing better... strong, gd in air, can hold the ball well can gd finisher. Somemore young !

i hope chelsea will change their playing style to 4-4-2. 4-5-1 is boring.
