They only won 1 match..draw and loses so many matches..and now have only 5 points in the league...what the fukk is wrong with them? when they are in division 1...they are the top of the list of the coca cola championship while wigan came in 2nd...but by the looks of how they play...its better they go back to divison 1..and i tink liverpool can give them a good trashing during tis week's meeting..any1 agrees?

Who's surprise about Sunderland's present position? Sunderland has brought pratically no one in the start of the season, and they are getting what they are paying for. Sunderland is probably following the Charlton/West Brom model of surviving the premiership: get promoted, buy no one and quitely get relegated again, saving the money you get. After that, get promoted again and buy like crazy to stay up. I think Sunderland is going to end up having the lowest premiership points ever.

Sunderland = A waste of space in the EPL
They have the worst bunch of board members and manager.
I don't think the are concerned with their league positions , their way they are playing or anything else.
Whoever plays Sunderland is as good as definately getting 3 points . -

Sunderland needs Teddy Sheringham,Roy Keane, Gareth Southgate and Nigel Martyn kind of players in their team.
The current squad lacks quality and experience. -

their long ball tactics is just not potent enough. they have good strikers and thus should try to attack more from the centre.
frankly in the premiership arsenal's attack is the most complete - flanks as well as from the centre.
