  Spurs are very strong.
  
  They have the right mix of youth and veteran players. Duncan, Ginobili, Tony Parker, Horry, Bowen. On top of that, they've added Michael Finley and Nick Van Axel.
  
  I believe the Pistons will be the closest team to challenge the Spurs again because of their tough defence.
  
  I support the Miami Heat in the East and LA Lakers in the West.
  
  Miami will have a good shot at dethroning Detroit if Shaq stays fit.
  
  As for the Lakers, sad to say, they've lost the plot. As great a player as Kobe is, no one player can win the title by himself. He needs supporting role players around him. At the moment, it's still just one man Kobe show.

  but lakers are surprising,especially kobe,scoring almost 40 per night.still good hopefully he will stay fit.they can make the playoffs.

  yeah... the lakers are suprising.. .they won 6 out of the last 7 games.. and they are now challenging against the washington wizards.. sad for e sixers, miami snapped their 4th straight wins while the miami heat head for their 4th straight wins...

  their win lose score better than popular teams like Miami heat or phoenix suns.

  My personal fav is the Miami Heat..
  
  with Big Diesel back.. hopefully they will go from strength to strength.. Dwayne Wade has been lighting up the NBA with his spectacular Dunks..
  
  i agree that ESPN is showing alot of Cav games.. their matches r pretty boring.. except for a certain LeBron James... the rest of the supporting cast has been pretty bland .. with not much firepower.. Maybe except for Doynell Marshall (might be a spelling mistake)... his 3 point shooting has been an unexpected bonus...

  chauncey billups is considered one of the best guards now in the NBA. ben wallace is an allstar who is very popular with his defensive prowness and his thunderous dunks =D rasheed wallace also a popular player. Rip hamilton getting popular too...their a star team =)

  yeah.. detroit is a team full of good players..
  
  what i meant was that they dun have a prima-donna in the team.. i.e. Kobe Bryant or Vince Carter...
  
  those players who want the ball.. n entertain the fans with their smooth moves or tomahawk dunks..
  
  instead.. detroit players are those who believe more in scoring , rather than entertaining the fans.. that's nt to say that Pistons aren't a entertaining team.. it's jus that they put their priorites more on getting the win..

  of course e detroit's team put their priorities on winning... they missed a chance of winning last year against e SA.. Of course they must take an opportunity to get back a championship for themselves.. Do u all think e 76ers can get into the playoffs? I AGREE STRONGLY THAT THE CAVALIERS MATCHES ARE BORING!!!!!!!

  76ers.. hmm.. i do think that it is going to be hard.. A one-man team is always going to be hard.. A.I. might be able to get 40 pts per game.. but if the supporting cast doesn't do anything much.. they will still lose..
  
  i think that's the problem.. Kobe & The Lakers are facing too..
