Fergie silences his enemies and now he's ready to make friends with ARSENAL

SIR ALEX Ferguson admits he will be cheering on bitter rivals Arsenal against Chelsea on Sunday.
The Manchester United boss will put his animosity towards Arsene Wenger to one side for 90 minutes in the hope Arsenal can win to give his side hope in the title race.
"Of course I'll have my Arsenal hat on," said Ferguson. "I'll certainly be cheering them on. Everybody is hoping Chelsea drop points. Myself, Arsenal and Liverpool.
"This win puts us level on games with Chelsea. We're nine points behind and it's a long way. The only thing we can do is try and put a consistent run together from now until the end of the season and see where that takes us.
"If Chelsea slip up, and it could happen, then we want to be the team that's next to them. If they do slip, then we'll have a chance."
United turned on the style against Wigan at Old Trafford to climb to second in the table and Ferguson claimed it was the ideal response after their humiliating Champions League exit.
"I'm pleased with this performance in the context of the last week," he said. "It's been a bad week for the club. The only way out of it is for everyone to grit their teeth, persevere and stick to their principles.
"I think that was an important win for us and I thought we produced some great football. In the second half, for 25 minutes in particular, we played some superb football.
"We produced some great first- touch football and I thought the third goal was phenomenal."
Rio Ferdinand put United on the way to their biggest win of the season with his first goal in 140 games for the club before Wayne Rooney scored a fantastic double and Ruud van Nistelrooy bagged his 12th Premiership strike from the penalty spot.
England centre-half Ferdinand, whose last goal came against Denmark in the 2002 World Cup, admitted he was relieved to get off the mark.
"I've been waiting a long time for that goal," he said. "I'm not going to lie. It was getting to me a bit and so it was good to get one. Hopefully I can get more.
"In training the lads would joke to me about not getting one. It was a great ball by Giggsy and that made it easy for me."
Van Nistelrooy denied Rooney the chance to get his hat-trick when he took the penalty, but the England striker refused to moan.
"Ruud takes the penalties," he said. "So there was nothing wrong with what he did. I was delighted with my two goals and delighted we got the three points."
Wigan boss Paul Jewell refused to be despondent after a fifth successive Premiership defeat.
"If you look at the run of games we've had, there's no team in the world which has had a tougher run than that," he said.
"We're disappointed to lose, but we've still got 25 points from 16 games. We need another five wins to stay up and I'm sure we'll get them."
