frankly being a arsenal long time fans, i dont think arsenal has a habit of buying players sold to another club. because they are too big a club to admit they made sales mistake.
vieira are making comment to add salt to arsenal already wounded midfield which he is trying to get back at david dein more than interested in joining arsenal. there is no merit for him to join back arsenal because today arsenal problems is simply more than a defensive player. i guess even with his return, he couldnt turn their season around either so it is lose lose situation for him. if arsenal flop this season, it could even prove it s a bigger mistake to sold him which arsenal never suffer really from a sale of a top player ranging from overmars, petit, anelka.
its a foregone conclusion.
It is unlikely any club regardless of size will ever buy back one of their ex-players: be it united, real or chelsea.
Just look at what it costs Newcastle to to buy owen...double digits? And he cost a bargain 6 mil when he moved to Real. With inflation like that, no one will even consider it.
