  Vidic probably back-up centre, anyway can't see silvestre playing there again can u??

  hi all,
  I think SAF is smart after the Roy Keane Saga where he is left empty for anyone to replace his position so now, he is trying to plug holes in defence and rebuilt.
  With GVN growing old, these new defenders can plug in central or fullback positions.
  
  For me, MS & JoS are much too reliable, WB is good, but too injury prone.
  And for GN, too much is betting that he will regain his form. Ole for example.
  
  Seriously, we should look at replacing Scholes. Yes DF is growing into the role, and he is only 21 so if he progress at the rate of last few matches, we got one good AM coming. Now, the position of the DM, if the sage between FIFA clears and we get that nigerian guy, then we are okie. Unsure when judgement will be announced.
  
  Just dont understand why players want to go to chelsea to sit on bench.
  looking at this world cup year, what is happening to players like Glen Johnson & SWP is a pity.
