  Hmmmm... Dinnoe y ppl always say Carlos is a freekick specialist, when most of the time his kicks just flew over the bars or juz hit the wall.

  Deco's freekicks haven't been that good after moving to Barcelona. I guess he hasn't get much practices since it's Ronaldinho who gets to take most of freekicks and not him.
  
  Would have added Zola in, but he has retired. Zola is definitely of the special one.
  
  Oh, and I have forgotten to add Shunsuke Nakamura into the list.

  those mentioned have some merit with direct free kicks though i would think lampard is pretty much an all rounder in that area. not spectacular in any way but his precision is quite superb. he can score direct but most importantly he is able to pick out his target quite well to direct the ball into goal.
