I think the coaches and managers either abet play acting or encourage it.
Either way, they have a role to play. they should have told their players to stop play acting. these days seldom see good sportsmanship.
Those strong teams need not resort to desperate measures like play acting, if you are good, play beautiful soccer for pete's sake. -
this incident is way overblown by sore loser benitez, he went into a rumbling show to deflect his poor tactical play. by the time the red card incident, it was already game over, inconsequential to the result. reina deserved the red card, first for chopping another player and later for raising his hands to robben's face. he knew the press would be dissecting liverpool's play and show his inept tactics, so he did what he did lor.....

he is to be blamed for the silly tackle and the eventually sending off.
