I dun think man utd will make him become crap. I think joining chelsea will make adu crap. Chelsea is forever a gal's name regardless of how thick their pockets are.... no young players will comes thru Chelsea to be in 1st 11, Abu if signed with them will probably be a waste... can make it thru the range and probably ends up playing 2nd division football in another 5-6years later... shouldn't comes to Man Utd as well, cos Alex couldn't afford the amt of years to mature him.. he needs immediate player in to get him out of the mess Man Utd is in... and time is running out even if Man Utd ends the season in 2nd position... as ppl says... no one will remember who comes in second in another 3 seasons down the road... so if he can't get it rite by 1/3 of next season... Alex will probably be replaced.. and if hopefully by a Italian...

Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Nolan has been linked with Manchester United.
The Daily Express says Nolan's form this season has caught the eye of United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who is seeking two central midfielders ahead of the summer market.
Nolan has thrived as Bolton's new club captain and has insisted this season he is happy at the Reebok stadium. Pushing for an England call-up after bagging nine goals for Bolton this season, Nolan is contracted to the Reebok Stadium outfit until 2009.
United are preparing a £10 million bid for Bolton to consider -
Preferably a bigger sized or harder midfielder whom can hold the entire midfield together..
Thomas Gravesen has always been my personal favourite to replace Keano..
but it seems liked it's not going to happen..
Obi Mikel seems more attacking minded than defensive...
Bouba Diop looks good playing for Fulham.. but he hasn't been proved in bigger stages..
Hopefully we can get either Gattuso or Diarra from Lyon..
and of course a scoring midfielder in midfield.. other than Scholesy, it seems like we do not have any consistent goal getters from midfield..
Maybe if we got the spare dosh, we can try to get someone liked Ballack or Kaka. (haha.. i am dreaming here..

kelvin nolan seems good. ThomasG is not that ideal. he is old and seems never to make a tackle. Saw him in his new team, stood out like a sore thumb.

Ron no good? you gotta be kidding man... its either you're not watching enough football or its because you simply dun understand what the heck you're seeing, look the guy is probably the best england forward currently, he is probably the player that Ericsson will most depend on in Germany together with of course Lampard and Gerrad. he is probably not getting enough goals recently but he is like what Cantona is previously, playing just behind the front man, being the link behind the midfield and the out and out striker, doing those run and defence spilting pass for that killer goal for his fellow players (like his last game) his pass, his run, his football brain is way better then when he is at his old club, like Cantona their passion in football is the key that will bring Man Utd together but this guy is still young hence couldn't offer the kind of effect Cantona can, but if given time and guidance this guy should be going far, but the problem is sir Alex couldn't control him like how he did to giggs, beckham...etc because he didn't comes thru the rank hence most will depend on his own to quickly mature and bring his game forward.Originally posted by 798:any players join man u are sure to become monkeys.

problem with ref? problem with other footballers? problems off the field? have to agreed that he isn't the best footballer ard but he isn't an angle when at his old club either but for the future of his game this boy needs to change.
Man Utd wil still have more cups in their cabinet then what chelsea can achieved in another 10 years down the road, so dun be so cocky just because chelsea is the current on form team. -

In defence, they've just bought Nemanja Vidic. The jury is still out on how he will cope in the premiership.
I reckon someone in the frame of Ledly King will be a good acquisition for United.
In midfield, they've missed the leadership of Roy Keane and the effectiveness of the old Paul Scholes. Essien would have been the perfect replacement, but Chelsea got him.
Kevin Nolan and Joey Barton will be decent buys. -

I see where you are coming from but if Barton's mind is set on a move to United. I don't think the City fans or City themselves can do anything to stop him from moving across.
