Sir Alex Ferguson has put Villarreal's Argentinian playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme right at the top of Manchester United's list of wanted stars. And Fergie was in Glasgow last night to run the rule over the talented midfielder in preparation for a £10m summer swoop. Riquelme required only eight minutes to show he knows where the goal is - even if Villarreal's opener came from a penalty. Fergie will blow all of his next budget on the man from South America. United have been tracking Riquelme for years. Ferguson's brother Martin is a big admirer and was also at Ibrox last night. -

south american dun really play well in the premiership..
cuz the game is too fast for them,they aren't hardworking and very physical which isn't their style..

well, he is quality. the friendly where Argentina vs England.
but unsure week in week out, he can take it against the tough CMs in EPL.
cause EPL games are much faster and closer.

The Glazers have told Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson he can spend big in the summer to overhaul Chelsea next season.
The Daily Express says the Glazer brothers - Ari, Bryan and Joel - who will restructure the loans they took out to buy the club last year, gave Ferguson the good news after watching United dish out a 4-0 thumping to Wigan in Cardiff.
Their advisers said: "The Glazer brothers were naturally pleased by the way the boys performed in the final and they feel that is progress, but they are very, very ambitious.
"The priority is to keep building the team and that means giving Ferguson the resources to try to buy whomever he needs in the summer." -

After watching the friendly match between england and uraguay.i believe fergie should sign Michael Carrick seriously....his passing is excellent,he has range of passing abilities...reminds me of veron's style..likes to try through balls.Furthermore,he's quite a dead ball specialist.He's break through to the epl scene same time as joe cole but only kept ppl noticing these days....not bad
