Reggina defender Joe Bizera has joined the debate over Serie A's referees.
Reflecting on Sunday's 4-1 drubbing by AC Milan at home, the Uruguay international said: "One thing I've learned since coming to Italy is that the referees have a different approach when we play a big club.
"When you face a big club in Italy your a second-class citizen. It's not deliberate, but I believe the referees subconsciously rule against us.
"It's one of the things I've notice in my first months in Italy. When you face a big club, it's like they're untouchable."
I wonder if this is true several of reports indicated some truth to this matter
Stuff like this happens in all the other leagues too. Even in the EPL you notice sometimes the big clubs are very clearly favoured by the ref.
