Maradona said Lionel Messi is his next replacement and his showing on wednesday in the CL against del horner shows that.
I think Messi is not as good as maradona. sure he got potential to be good in future, but truth be told, he is not as good as maradona.
giggs was said to be the next George Best, but he didnt quite live up to that tag.
Rooney as next Pele after Euro 2004 lol. thats a bit 2 much isn't it.
What abt Cheyrou as the next Zidane a few years back. where is Cheryrou now, next zidane indeed lol. -

conclusion : no1 can replace maradona

Indeed Messi is a very talented player,much much more better than Rooney or Robinho.
But i believe that we will never find another Maradona in this world other than the real man himself. -
he has a lot of potential.
but whether he can be as good as maradona only time will tell.
it is not easy to emulate him. -
