Birmingham City co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan are ready to put the club up for sale.
The Sunday Mirror says the club's owners are ready to sell following 12 years at the helm at St Andrews. However, the major stumbling block that could prevent an imminent sale is the possibility of relegation to the Championship.
The decision to sell will come as a major blow to Steve Bruce. The manager has been backed throughout a shocking campaign and even if he manages to keep Birmingham in top-flight football he may not find a new owner so charitable if the Blues' poor form continues.
