TEN stars to be offloaded by Real Madrid

Real Madrid are set for a major clearout following Florentino Perez's resignation as president this week.

DiarioSport says no less than TEN senior players will be sold at the end of the season as part of an overhaul by new president Fernando Martin.

Zinedine Zidane, Roberto Carlos, Antonio Cassano, Michel Salgado and Ronaldo will headline the departures. Also to be shown the door will be Jon Woodgate, Ivan Helguera, Thomas Gravesen and Pablo Garcia.

Home-grown players Raul Bravo and Oscar Minambres will be among a shortlist also allowed to move on in the summer.

New president Martin already has his hit-list drawn up and save winning the Champions League, a massive changeover of players will happen at the end of this season.

Inter Milan and Real Madrid will continue talks over a stunning four-player swap - despite this week's resignation of the Spanish club's president Florentino Perez.
Talks have been ongoing for some weeks between the two clubs which would see Real striker Ronaldo and midfielder Guti move to Inter in exchange for Adriano and playmaker David Pizarro, says Corrierre dello Sport.

Inter coach Robert Mancini is pushing for the deal to happen as he sees Ronaldo and Guti the perfect fit for fellow new arrivals Maxwell and Maicon (Monaco) in the summer.

Inter Milan wrapping up Ballack deal - in Florence

Inter Milan are closing in on Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Ballack.

Hours after the Germany captain denied reports he had received a bumper offer from Chelsea, it emerged that talks had been held in Florence involving Inter officials and Ballack's agent, Michael Becker. Becker is said to have met with Inter transfers chief Marco Branca and the club's finance director Rinaldo Ghelfi.

Ghelfi's presence suggests terms have all but been agreed and Ballack will soon put pen to paper on an Inter contract.

The midfielder is off contract from Bayern in June and can move to Inter on a Bosman.

Pablo garcia too... how come dun see roberto soldado, javier portillo??

one thing i dun understand is why they play woodgate instead of carlos diogo.

U know wat... this Tribal football news is really full of fantasy football.

I have read some of the threads posted here and in other forums with reference to the website and alot of stuffs seemed bogus.

Considering they would be sacking TEN senior players (as they claimed), it's will probably do more harm than good. There would be some changes in the lineup but the transition will be calculated for the new season.

Portilloo scores freely in the reserves but overlooked bcos the senior squad too many established stars.

Cos he's local lad (i think) and RM may adobt more Spanish players than FT for the Seasons ahead.... they may not sell at the end of the day.
