Sorry, I think I have mis-interpreted the news. my mistake. Rather, RAI Sport(which is a free sports channel for Italian viewers) lost the rights to broadcast Serie A. Mediaset (a Cable Channel owned by the Italian prime minister) won it. That means, the Italian viewers have to subscribe to the cable channels to watch it. That means, for example, Channel 5 lost the rights to broadcast S-League to ESPN Asia. We have to subsribe to ESPN to watch S-League. Sometimes its the stereotype mentality of those who dont watch the Serie A. Its like so and so friends said that the Italian League is boring and then the third party also follow suit eventhough he has or seldom watch the Serie A. In recent times, italian teams have evolved, they have started to play attacking football, but these stereotypical fans just dont want to give the Serie A a chance.Originally posted by Jader:Totally agree with that. Regarding those who feel that Serie A is boring, I guess it's due to the influence of the big 3. The smaller teams are actually playing some attractive football. The likes of Palermo, Udinese and Sampdoria. I'm the interested in the big 3 playing against each other. Usually quite boring.
For me, I would definitely watch more of other leagues too if they are available

I seriously think that Seria A is boring............even though I am not regular but we all know that Seria A is boring we can't deny the fact that it is..................Counter-Attack is the most common Tatics used in Seria A.............while La Liga Is the Most Exciting attacking football league but the atomsphere is not as superior as EPL..................I Love EPL the most because of its atomsphere and the attention it get from all around the world and it is a balanced of Attack and Defence and Fast Play Of Football

Depends on each individual preference I guess. One thing I will definitely agree though, which is the atmosphere. I don't like the broadcast of Serie A and La Liga, in terms of this though. Like I have mentioned, they tend to decrease the volume of the crowd's voices, that makes the matches boring.
For me, La Liga is the most attacking and exciting out of the 3. Tons of attractive flicks and such can be seen there.
Regarding to Serie A, it depends. I don't like to watch the big 3 play, like I said. But the smaller teams are definitely nice to watch. As for attacking or defensive, I can't use the big 3 to judge the whole league. Last season, Lecce scored a massive 66 goals in 38 games, second highest (1 goal behind Juve), but conceded 73 (most in the league). They played incredibly attractive football. Way more attractive and attacking than the big 3.
I have to agree that most people wouldn't like Serie A, cos it's not as fast paced as EPL. But to me, Serie A has most of the ingredients which I want, in terms of watching football. -
