The signs are there, RVN didnt start for the last 3 matches, and he is not in talking terms with Sir Alex.
I think Sir Alex will sell him at end of the season, just like he sold david beckham in 2003.

If Van Nistelrooy leaves that means Rossi will get more 1st team action and Saha and Rooney will have to be at their best constantly to compete with Chelsea for the No.1 spot. Van Nistelrooy's departure will also be missed as he is a top class striker and helped Man Utd score many goals....

If SAF is ruthless and find RVN temperament hard to handle, like prima donna, or if he has found a ready replacement, like henry or etoo to replace immediately, i go along with his decision to replace RVN cos of his age. -

he top scorer 19 goals, if he has been playing regularly, he sure score more than tthe 19 goals now.

Think RVN delay signing an extension of the contract , and maybe RVN want to make use of the Bosman , that's why Ferguson ban him .
Or Ferguson for goodwill , protecting him from fatigue , rest him as Holland need him . -
