there were fouls aplenty.. i think the ref didn't have a good game..
thing is, davids gave heck of a lot more than he took
ultimately, when people go down hurt, even if their own players took them out, you put the ball out for them to get medical attention...
tottenham has played on when opponents were down injured a few times already... this is just not on..

you do it just not to allow the other team an advantage just because they do it, also does not make it right..
sometimes, the results matter less than how you got there...
just like your beloved chelsea... if they buy up everyone to prevent other teams from gettin players and cheat their way to winning, it was still not right...

all i'm saying that in this particular scenario..davids is not the most guilty party involved, and certainly should not be the victim of your frustrations..
because there were more guilty parties involved..
i was never saying that it was right to continue play and score,but just wanted to voice out my opinion that u people had been putting the blame on the wrong fella.. -
didnt watch the match, but according to news, it seems spurs team was in the wrong for being unsportsmanship to continue on... dirty draw... no matter how much u wan the result, its not the way... even for gunners last wed, they wanted to score so much, they lan lan hv to put the ball out out of sportsmanship... the team really need to learn some sportmanship...

i think it was fair for spurs to continue attacking. we see a lot of such things happening in matches. the only difference was it ended in a goal. -

Ahhh..was furious with spurs man.... I guess there was nothing wrong with the 1st goal...By "right"..play should go on since the ref did not stop play..But often players shows sportmanship in the way that they would let players receive treatment and not exploit injuries to opponents.
But the game is often played the "left" way and i would be sure that arsenal would kick the ball out of play in that situation. Look against villareal...
But no excuses...Wenger gambled on a weakened team and that decision would prove to be costly should arsenal not win the CL.
Henry though pulled 1 back but we all know that a point is just not good enough and spurs will continue to hold the intiative. But arsenal come on...U have gotta keep henry... EPL would not be complete next season w/o u.... -
if u read the report from soccernet..it seem that carrick stopped playing,before he was urged by the referee to play on..
now that i have read it,i seem to remember that as the ball was loose for a moment,play did not carry on immediately,cause the ball took quite sometime before it reach davids..

whats done is done lar, if spurs just get a draw in one of the remaining games(i.e. Bolton game) i think we can still get 4th spot. The gunners destiny is in their own hands. Our remaining 4 matches seem relatively easy yet competitive enough to keep us on our toes.
