Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohnsen wants a move to Manchester United.
The Manchester Evening News says Gudjohnsen has held informal talks over his future at Stamford Bridge and the two parties are due to sit down again in the next fortnight.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson values players who can play in more than one role and Gudjohnsen's midfield capabilities as well as his ability to fill a berth in a two-pronged attack would make him a versatile addition to the Reds squad.
please don't sell him to man utd........he is a good passer and finisher.......technical player -

Newcastle United caretaker Glenn Roeder is demanding his young players stop star gazing.
Roeder was not happy when he saw one of his young players hanging around the home dressing room trying to get the Chelsea signatures on a blue shirt when the two teams met in the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge in March.
This was the game after another one of United's up-and-coming young players left Old Trafford clutching Wayne Rooney's shirt after the defeat by Manchester United.
Roeder told the Evening Chronicle: "I don't like my players running around trying to get autographs from opposing sides or chasing them for their shirts.
"But I would be happy if all this happened the other way round and other players wanted our shirts and autographs."

Sad thing about having many good players in a team is there will be unhappiness due to lack of match action. I pity Shaun Wright Phillips. Wasted talent. Should really have stayed in Manchester City to taste more first team action. I won't mind a Gudjohnsen's move to Man U, but I really think Man U's top priority is to get a superb world class defensive midfield and a world class playmaker.

Maybe MUFC could sell RVN and get Gudjohnsson.

Gudjohnsen should move to Man Utd as RVN is leaving and Man Utd will need an experienced striker/midfielder to help them score more goals. This was wat they were lacking this season even though they manage to get 2nd place. -

Gudjohnsen will move to other clubs. but i don think it would be man u even though he fits the bill.
Sir AF has too much pride to buy frm mourinho. Hopefully he could get the repalcement for Keane first then look to strengthen the attack.
He should break the bank an get someone like Gattuso. -
I enjoyed watching this Gudjohnsen playing the anchor role. He may be big for the role but really a joy to watch. Good technique, mentally strong and quite clever ard the box. Holds the ball very well too. He will be a asset in many many teams.

he should leave chelsea. he is a talented player.
being on the bench for long period made him lose his edge.
it is better to be a first choice player at another team than a reserve at chelsea. -
