how many people (your brothers, colleagues, friends, classmates, neighbours or anyone you know) support clubs at the lower half of the table or even lower divisions, and remained loyal through the years?
i am sure 99% of soccer fans support the big clubs.
ask yourself!!! why did you choose to support them (arsenal, man u, liverpool etc) in the first place? because they were winning titles right? because they are big clubs right? because they can afford and have all the big names in their squad right?
unless you are a supporter of clubs like nottingham forest and is still supporting them (or supporters of poor and non-achieving clubs) dont go around calling people glory hunters.
you are no better!!
who supports losing teams all the way? who supports sunderland? everytime sunderland lose you cry with them.

wah... chill...... glory hunters are here there everywhere. I know a chap who proudly admitted that he used to support Liverpool and then switch to Man Utd and two season ago Arsenal. Not sure whether his support has moved to Stamford Bridge already.
Everton is considered a big five in the EPL (traditionally speaking) but we have experienced more relegation issues than glory. As far as I can recall, our glory for the last decade was to win the FA Cup in 1995 (just over a decade ago) and pip Liverpool to 4th spot two seasons back. -
so you are an everton fan. i used to follow them very closely when they were challenging liverpool for the title.
it is nice to see underdogs win the domestic title.
if i remember correctly only villa and everton managed to do it then. -
Actually Everton used to win a lot of the Division 1 titles back then and wasn't exactly underdogs. It was quite nice to see half the England team in 1986 was filled with Everton players. Fortunes have changed since and in this commercial world, its a long rebuilding process to get back to the top. -
yay i support villa since 1997 when yorke was our god!!!!!!!!
highest pt of all the years was when villa were top of the table for 3-4 months before finishing 6th and merson was the god then.
lowest pt was last season and the second spell of graham taylor

I'm 17 yrs now, support man utd since 11 yrs old.
I support them because their strike force was damn impressive. With Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole, and that time I treat Beckham as my idol, now also.
Back then, I know nuts about Man Utd winning any titles, didn't know what they talking about. Lost contact with the soccer world for few months, and back supporting Man Utd. -

Hey chill...chill...anw...supported Man United since 1998...i was only 7 then...coz my dad used to watch them play and i am always amazed at how they come back from other matches and their passion and drive...Now all these qualities r gone becoz of aging managers and players but i still firmly stuck with them...The strong support for them ...u just cant change allegiance just like that..
