Cole U-turn over Arsenal commitment

Ashley Cole has told Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger he's prepared to play for the club this season.
The People says in a new twist to a transfer tug-of-war between Arsenal and Chelsea that has dragged on all summer, defender Cole revealed he is ready to remain a Gunner for one more year.
The news will send shock-waves through Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea's power-brokers, who have already offered ?16.7m, are desperately trying to put together a financial package to get their man.
An Arsenal insider said: "Ashley made the offer because he doesn't see how the move will be completed in time.
"He thought he would be the one to end the transfer saga - for this year at least.
"But now he is worried about staying and being hated by the fans."
Cole also has a book on hold in which he criticises Arsenal for the way he has been treated since the Chelsea tapping-up row. -
how can he face his team-mates and especially wenger.

Arsenal has decided to exchange Reyes with JULIO BAPTISTA. But the problem is Baptista don't want to stay in London also. Both got same problem...
If Baptista blocks the deal Arsenal will sell Reyes to Atletico Madrid for £12m plus a further £2.5m performance related.

Yes He fufilled the requirement but stil need to apply for it ma. This application process may take up to months. Need to go for language test and whatever they have la.
So thats the reason he din join Arsenal last year and wont until he gets his citizenship.
Looks like to me most likely Both Cole and Reyes wont be going anywhere and will be forced to accept their fate or AW can do a Mourinho and let them rot in reserves. I doubt it though cos he needs cole to stabilise the left side.
