Yeah, you all also smell it too don't you... If Aston Villa F.C. a bigger club than WH costed Randy Lerner only £62.6m. These 2 players alone could have bought the whole West Ham club if their mentioned valued is around $60m.

Corinthians like almost all Brazil football clubs, is also poor and can't afford them too yet they can buy them last year. Seems like next year, these 2 fellows will go to the real club behind the picture. -

This reminds me of my long, long time ago when I played CM2 and control a 3rd Division club, bring it all the way to Premiership and then managed to end up having 10 out of the 11 starting England lineup in my team.
And not to mention I managed to buy players like Michael Owen, Giggs and Figo. Okay they were old then, but still good for a few years. -

West Ham boss Alan Pardew rates new signing Carlos Tevez as a bigger talent than Barcelona whiz Lionel Messi.
Writing in his World Cup column for the Independent in June, Pardew declared: "I saw in less than 10 minutes that Tevez can be a star for the next 10 years.
"He will be a top, top player. Tevez has an assurance about his ability. He's got good agility and looks like a striker who has every tool.
"He's a decent size too. He's more explosive than Lionel Messi. He's really a Maradona-type player. He has more goals in him than Lionel Messi and works higher up the pitch. Tevez will always be at the sharp end and I like that."

I seriously tink something is wrong here But oh well im a West Ham supporter now I think those 2 staying there for 1 season only...then move on to the bigger clubs...Maybe want to see if they can adapt to the English game first..if cannot then nevermind can go other leagues..IF go big clubs and play badly the consequences are much worse..all the scrutiny and all...

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has secured first option on new West Ham United signing Javier Mascherano.
The deal that took Mascherano and Corinthians teammate Carlos Tevez to West Ham was thrashed out by Hammers boss Alan Pardew and agents Pini Zahavi and Jonathan Barnett, plus Iranian businessman Kia Joorbachian who owns Media Sports Investments which has financial control of the Brazilian club.
The Mirror says United boss Ferguson has been assured by Zahavi that he will be given first option on Mascherano next summer - but will have to pay in excess of £18 million.

It is reported on BBC sport:
"We were never interested in Tevez," United chief executive David Gill told BBC Five Live's Sportsweek programme.
"We were also offered Mascherano but we didn't want to go for him."
Gill added: "We were offered Mascherano for a significant sum at the start of the summer and also last week on a loan deal.
"We had watched him last season but the manager and his staff didn't want to pursue him.
"While he is clearly a very good player it was decided he wasn't required at the club." -
Reported that West Ham got the both of them for FREE
