The 1st person let say drogba and 2nd person sheva
drogba need to pass to sheva 1st and drogba can run towards the oppoent half and sheva CAN choose to pass to him or choose to pass backwards
you are not passing backwards @ the 1st pass but instead u are passing straight to the 2nd person for the 1st pass -

let me ask you... if the 2nd player is in his own half which is where all players need to be then how can the ball which is supposed to be at the half way line be pass to? and before the ball moves no players is allow to move over the the other half hence tell me if you kick the ball into the other half how is your players going to get the ball? -

i was saying Drogba is the 1st person and Sheva is the 2nd.. so when Drogba (1st person) kick the ball to Sheva (2nd person) would Sheva be in the other half? and if he isn't then how would Dorgba get the ball to him and since he is not in the other half, would that be consider that Dorgba kick the ball forward??? the ball is on the centre spot within the circle so even thou Sheva is standing infront of Drogba, Drogba will still have to pass/kick/push the ball slightly diagonally backwards towards Sheva instead of forward.. was that not right????
try to twist the word and i'll make you explain how to indentifty the word "kick straight" do they use a ruler??? or a laser pointer?? or have a track where the ball will be roll on to so that it can be straight??? anyway i'm not trying to argue that the ball is not being roll/kick/pass straight towards the 2nd person.. i'm trying to say its not as what Mr 60s said,
on paper its supposed to be forward but on the field its always pass to the 2nd person whom is always facing the 1st kicker so technically they dun kick the ball forward... -

The DAMN ball MUST cross that centre line TOWARDS the opponent for the 1st kick.
The opponent MUST be 10 yards away. You mean you don't even know this??? That's why the opponent team players are always outside the centre circle at the start.
So by simply rolling the ball across the line, the 2nd player can get the ball 1st easily and the 2nd person usually pass it back.
You really NEVER start or play in a FORMAL soccer game.
PLEASE STOP MAKING A FOOL OF YOUSELF ANYMORE!!!!
