West Ham boss Alan Curbishley is ready to gamble with the signing of Nigel Quashie - a man who has already been relegated from the Premiership with FOUR different clubs.Curbs made an enquiry about West Brom's Scotland midfielder, who has put in a transfer request at The Hawthorns.
Curbishley is desperate for an experienced and creative midfielder and the Premiership strugglers are preparing a £1.25million bid.

Curbs seems like a nice guy...but I really doubt a spending frenzy could save the hammers... -
he's good....hard working combative midfielder....jus unlucky he played for clubs that are relegated......only pompey didn't get relegated.
relegation fight need someone who wants to get stuck in there at least he's willing to work hard for relegation threatened teams -
If he plays Mascherano and Nigel-Coker in midfield, he would have a good midfield liao. Quashie is, IMO, a championship(the division, not champion)-calibre type of player.
