hey..pls dun say all those stuff abt the hosts,Korea and Japan getting advantages n favour from the refrees.u should have seen how italy's vieri played...he missed a couple of chances to seal the game but yet he wasted his chances.But y isn't anyone blaming him or italy's players? i guess this is all due to the mentality that Hosts can kelong.then wat abt Japan not beating Turkey,is that kelong too? maybe u will say that it's better to let only one of the hosts to go thru so that it's less obvious there's favourism.however,u have to bear in mind being hosts has its advantages like home support which is of utmost importance.
Look at France98...france won on its home soil.so what if there's favourism? it may play a part but it only happens once every
4 years n not the same country gets to host the worldcup.so..let korea enjoy the priviledge for once.aren't u proud that Korea made asian soccer proud after the thrashing of saudi arabia by Germany.i just find it funny that the italian r all putting the blame of their loss on others,instead of self-reflecting on what went wrong.i have to remind u all that italy wasn't the same italy that appeared in previous world cups.

As expected.At first i had more confidence in
Japan,but now it was the other way.Korea fought well,skills and territory.The referee
was obviously bias towards Korea,esp that
elbow hit and red card foul.Chances that Korea might defeat Spain are greatly increased.Feel glad Korea won though,not to say she was like us Asians too.

Just becos Ahn Jung Hwan scored that lucky goasl against Italy and everyone regard him as a national hero. He is damn lucky that the ball just flew on his head and he managed to score that goal. If earlier on, Italy's goal wasn't disallowd for off-side, he will not be celebreating that goal and just pack his bag, go home sleep better.
How can he be compared to players like David Beckham of England. If all of you noticed, Koreans soccer players look like rapist, moleaster, sexist etc.
