Honestly that sounds like being sour grapes and whining, like Neil Warnock's complaint that Middlesbrough purposely lost to Man City. Just plain lame.Originally posted by ghimpheng:Boateng warns Man Utd's Ronaldo: You're gonna get hurt

Middlesbrough captain George Boateng has fired a warning at showboating Manchester United dazzler Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo was the victim of a scything foul by the frustrated James Morrison, who was sent off near the end of United's ill-tempered FA Cup quarter-final replay win over Middlesbrough at Old Trafford on Monday night.
Boro captain George Boateng said: "A lot of players want to do what Morrison did. Why didn't Ronaldo do his tricks when it was 0-0 and people were fighting to get a goal? It annoys people."
As the debate over Ronaldo's alleged diving was rekindled by United's disputed penalty winner, Boateng added: "People have pride. No one likes to have the mickey taken out of them and if you're going to do that, one day someone will hurt him properly and he'll be out for a long time.
"We know he can do his tricks, but don't do it when you're winning 1-0 and there's only two minutes to go.
"When you're playing Sunday football with your mates it's great, but not at top level."

Fergie scare wait the media paints Ronaldo, the way they paints the Blues, he won't be able to use his Diving antics anymore!Originally posted by ghimpheng:tribalfooball.com - March 20, 2007
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson launched a terrible hairdryer blast at a Sky TV reporter after taking issue over his interview with Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of Monday night's FA Cup replay victory over Middlesbrough.
The Sun says Fergie called Sky's Geoff Shreeves a 'f*****g bastard' and told him to 'f**k off'.
Ferguson was furious with Shreeves for questioning his Portuguese wing wizard about allegedly cheating for his controversial penalty winner against Middlesbrough in Monday's FA Cup clash.
The fiery Scot's off-camera rant was so loud a BBC interview with Boro chief Gareth Southgate had to be abandoned.
The Sun has published a transcript of what was recorded:
SHREEVES: "I asked him . . . "
FERGUSON: "F*****g (inaudible) bastard."
S: "Don't talk to me like that."
F: "F**k off to you."
S: "Don't talk to me like that. Don't even think about it."
F: "Don't you think about it, you ****. F**k off. Right?"
S: "Listen, are you going to do the interview in a professional manner or not? Do you want to do it or not?"
F: "You f*****g be professional. You be professional. You're the one."
S: "I'm entitled to ask . . . . Cristiano gave the right answer."
F: "F*****g hell with your answers."
S: "Don't talk to me like that. Go away. If you want to behave civilly, fine. Don't talk to me like that."
F: "F**k off." (door slams).

What about Steven Gerrard getting a penalty, why no news? Cause he's an English?
Or what about the match between Bolton and Man Utd? Nemanja Vidic did just a small push, and a penalty was allowed, why no big news about it also?
That be the day Man Utd will willingly sell him to anyone, cos cannot help them to cheat in another silverware liao!Originally posted by superstrongnlong:Fergie scare wait the media paints Ronaldo, the way they paints the Blues, he won't be able to use his Diving antics anymore!
Hmm.... Is that to say that Ronaldo himself is not a talent player? No dribbling skills? No passing skills? No good shots on goal? I think it's a bit of a sweeping statement to disregard that Ronaldo is a good player whether or not he cheats. His contribution this season in particular goes beyond the penalties he earned and converted.Originally posted by innosaint:That be the day Man Utd will willingly sell him to anyone, cos cannot help them to cheat in another silverware liao!![]()
And it's not like this interview happened before Mourinho's outburst. He is so blatantly double-standard that it amuses me.Originally posted by CKeer:![]()

Well, you see, some forumnites are bias. They only accept one view - their view.
I wonder which club's manager mutted that word.
Cheers.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was angry with the way Cristiano Ronaldo was interviewed at the end of Monday night's FA Cup replay victory over Middlesbrough.
United's manager launched an astonishing attack, accusing Sky television of trying to lure the 22-year-old Portugal winger into 'tripping himself up' during an after-match interview.
Earlier, the two benches also clashed at the end of a tense tie amid accusations that Ronaldo had fallen too easily under Jonathan Woodgate's 75th-minute challenge.
Ronaldo, interviewed by Geoff Shreeves on Sky, said: "Of course I felt the contact. He kicked me.
"Maybe people don't like me because I'm too good."
Ferguson raged to MUTV: "It's a clear penalty kick.
"I don't know what they're going on about. If it had been any other player they wouldn't have bothered. I think it's because it was Ronaldo, it's a shame that. It's putting a stigma on the boy which is not deserved.
"And I saw the interview he had and he was magnificent. It was a poor interview, a disgraceful interview. Just stretching it out, hoping the boy trips himself up.
"He (Sky interviewer Geoff Shreeves) doesn't understand how intelligent the boy is. It was a poor interview and I was disgusted with it. Sky should have a good look at themselves."
He added: "He's a great player, a fantastic player, phenomenal.
"We've had some great players at this club and I've been proud to say in my 20 years we've had fantastic players. He's up there with the best of them, without question."
