There are comparisions about "if" Eriksson did not leave England team, where would they fare now?

i always doubt his ability as manager. he's nowhere near the level as top class manager. just because he took boro to UEFA cup final doesnt mean he's a good manager and he wasnt even on the shortlist when England was looking for Erik's replacement. his time at boro also wasnt that impressive. i think it's better for him being a no.2. appoint sam or alan instead! -

Funnie that EPL teams have so many excellent managers around, but the national squad always ends up wif a crappy one!

all the big football nation will want to have their own country man as manager hence when Erik whom is a Swedes was newly appionted as manager of England there was quite a fair bit of hoohaa but was quickly stamped down when the team started winning, but i guess those that kissed his a$$ when England beat Germany 5:0 are probably also the same group that is calling for his head when they lost during the last WC and i'll bet if Steve is to lead England to some degree of sucess in the next couple and follow that up by making a huge impression on the next Euro Championship or even winning it, those that called for his head will be there kissing his a$$ while claiming that they always think Steve is the bext Manager or something.
so this generally tells you that fans are a group of fickle minded ppl and reputation is as good as the result goes -
