gasol is the one of the best center ever in lakers history.He play key role in both defence and offence. -
yeah gasol skills and passing is a good fit for phil jackson's triangle offense.. but he gets pushed around by those big centres quite easily..
he needs more muscle.. but lucky the celts center isn't one of their best offense options, he'll have to prevent garnett from getting hot though.

he play with brains ,not brawns,usually these european player ,play quite smart.Before gasol's arrival,laker can merely make it to the play off ,but with him,they can make it to the final.trading in gasol is good business.

do u remember in olympics or what ,cannot remember,the greece defeat us,to be the champ,US only make the third place.Though ,US soldier got brawns.But cannot defend Greece players with constant screening, and catch and shot.US now is not dominating the basketball

yes, he has skills and passing ability for a big men.. different from those traditional big american centres..but i figure he could put on some muscle to prevent people from duncan overpowering him most of the time..
but then again maybe when andrew bynum returns, he'll be moved to power forward who knows..
he got traded to the lakers? many say it was a gift.. doesn't even count as a trade..haha..

defence,i think Odom will guard Garnett,in offence ,garnett will guard gasol.Propably laker will win,who dominate the key ,who dominate the game.

yeah i think kobe can guard pierce.. sasha vujacic is quite under rated as a harraser, and he will be on the guard against ray allen, and odom and gasol will take turns to defend garnett..
i think the celts will rotate between garnett and peirce to stop kobe, cause garnett long arms might be more efficient then just pierce mobility, although when kobe's on fire, he's pretty much unstoppable..

kobe is good.but when he can be on fire is unpredictable.So better rely on gasol,and attack the key.i cannot imagine garnett guard kobe,it's a mismatch.If garnett will come out of the center area is game is easier.

i mean if bowen widely regarded as one of the best perimeter defenders around couldn't even stop kobe, maybe they might need garnett's help to do it.
and kobe averages like what 25 pts per game against spurs or more? and he did it with like only 16 FT in the whole series! even duncan when he came out of the screen couldn't stop kobe.

ray allen will be on kobe i believe. Radmanovic will be on pierce. odom on garnet, gasol on perkins.

but kobe can guard either pierce of allen.. wonder if ray allen shooting slump will continue..

yes ,celtics' defence is quite disappointing .the first round against hawks right?everyone think they can easily sweep out them,but finally come with 4-3.
laker got good defence skills.
if kobe do not get injured ,i think the result will be 4-2.celtics out
