  After end of the english domestic league, the top 2 teams will qualify automatically and the 3rd and 4th placing will be slotted for playoff...

  Newcastle is a big disgrace to England in the CL...although they did go to the 2nd stage and liverpool crushed out... i still prefer Pool to go further then Newcastle...Newcastle in CL is just a big joke!!!

  By comparison as u yourself pointed out, pool crashed out of the CL while newcastle rolled up their socks and won 3 straight to reach the 2nd rd.
  
  Newcastle have proven by far to be liverpool's betters. They have struggled but have produced the results when it mattered...unlike pool which as of this morning got knocked out by crystal palace in the FA cup.

  Newcastle European appearance is limited compared to Liverpool... if u are talking about disgrace then Liverpool shud be the ones...
