  Hmm.....ermm u see lah the current batch of footballers how many malays we have??I'm not racist but malays are like 20% of the population that leaves us with some 70% of the Chinese and 10% other races who are not being tapped at all.Meaning not all our talent has been tapped so we cant really go far if thats the case!

  Nothing is impossible...yea..saying is easy...action speaks louder than words...if 4-0 thrashing by Malaysia..hmm...Malaysia didnt set target...and singapore set target..2010..pai seh leh...maybe Malaysia will go to WCF fater than Singapore..whaha...

  All is not lost. Perhaps Singapore can host the World Cup in 2050 when it has reclaimed so much land (stadiums and accomodation for the event) southwards that Indonesia is only a leap away. Or perhaps be joint host with Malaysia, that'll live Malaysia's World Cup dream, if they have one.

  Don't think Singapore stand much chance. We have so little human resources and our government does not place emphasis on soccer like other countries do. We don't even have a stadium comparable to any soccer team in the EPL. Not unless the government is williing to spend huge $ on building big world class stadiums and hire really pro coaches. Partly cos Singapore so small, build a Wimbledon stadium liao no space to walk le.

  we got sch.. it takes up most of the time..got exams all these.. nid 2 study aso..
  
  unless like most of the malays lah.. dun really study.. dats y their soccer so good.. whole day play..

  Even if heng heng can beat Thailand here in SE Asia, there are still the big dogs from Southwest Asia like Iran, Kuwait, Saudi. Even Palestine seems keen to send a team, but luckily they seems quite weak.
  
  This is still not mention the East asian teams of Jap & korean who are getting quite good internationally.... haiyah...
  
  Asia only have 4 openings .... hope 1 more will be given to ASIA in future...

  let's be realistic here. We don't have the quality players compare to the western side. We don't play football for our rice bowl.
