Patrick Vieira and several FAs were just fined by UEFA over abusive fans and poor security.
In partick's case, he was fined becoz he spoke out that UEFA was all talk no action becoz all they ever did in the fight against racism was to "fine" and that just wasn't good enuff.
Truly i'm disappointed that UEFA has fined Patrick. All he did was criticise UEFA fairly...watever happened to freedom of speech? And that was not even defamatory! Since their only penalty is to fine ppl , maybe they shd learn from the Singapore System since we fine AND JAIL ppl
Honestly, i agree fully with Patrick's assessment. UEFA are not black so they cannot possibly understand how ppl in Patrick's position feel when they get racially abused every match they play in europe.
All they do is fine ppl when they should be imposing stricter penalties like closed door matches for a probation duration. I think less earnings from paying fans will teach clubs to take racism seriously...
After all, Inter, Valencia, Roma, Lazio etc are all recalcitrant offenders...wat's the use of fining them?
