  Another tight contest...
  
  but i'm curious...which scottish team will progress into the knockout round?
  
  Rangers or Celtic?
  
  FYI, rangers is grouped with Man UTd, Sttuguart and Panathinaikos
  
  Celtic is grouped with Bayern Munchen, Anderlecht and Lyon

  i expect ranger to be knocked out of 1st stage.
  
  Is it true that the rules of UEFA Championship has changed? Like now FIFA increased to 3 stages for knockout instead of 2?

  Evidently, they have scrapped the 2nd round group stage of matches. This means that they will play only this first round group stage and the top two from each team will progress into the direct knockout stages ....much like the world cup format.
  
  There is no longer any 2nd round group stage which apparently was making the players doubly tired.
