The FIFA World Player of the Year award 2003 will be announced on Monday. The nominees are Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo and Thierry Henry. Who do you think will win this coveted award? Share your views on why the player should win also.

For me, I will say Thierry Henry should win the award. This year has been a phenomenal year for Henry. He has shown his qualities well this year and shown that he can score and also create goals. He is an unbelievable team player as well,quoted by Arsene Wenger.He has scored 10 in 13 Premier League fixtures plus the 11 goals scored for France this year.Following the thrashing of Germany 3-0 in which he scored one and created another and the 5-1 demolition of Inter as well. His performances this year is truly out of this world and he truly deserves the award.

In my heart, I hope that Henry wins. But sad to say the award is likely to land to that Goofy, Ronaldo.
