Hi all,
Share some good tips:
Advanced players often encounter opponents who hit great baseline angle shots from seemingly impossible positions and with alarming frequency.
If you're being out-angled, try hitting deep and to the center of the court. If your opponent has to return your shots from the middle of the baseline, the degree of angle he has to work with will be limited. And if kept pinned in the center of the baseline, your opponent may become impatient and force angled shots he normally wouldn't try from that position. ThatÂ’s a good recipe for unforced errors.
If you want to try hitting sharp angles yourself, position yourself out wide. You can achieve a greater angle, especially with topspin, the further away you are from the center part of the court. And remember that when it comes to angles, precision matters, not pace.
