personally, moi watch the Houston Rockets and New Jersey Nets' games only.
the rest kinda boring~~
anyway hopefully the playoffs between Rockets and Lakers goes into Game 6 or 7
should be pretty straight forward for the Nets at dis point in time~~ -
bro... not many NBA dudes here... basketball threads usually have the lifespan of a fruitfly... die in no time...
New Jersey Nets really turn out their best during the playoffs... with Jason Kidd leading the pack and Richard Jefferson and Kenyon Martin finishing off the crisp passes... they are definitely heading for the conference finals most probably the Pacers....
i can't fathom how the Rockets can take the Lakers beyond the 5th game... with only a few shinning stars on the team, Yao, Francis and Mobley... and Mobley being the sole consistent performer... Francis is reputed to be a ball hogger and can drag the entire team down with his horrendous shooting...
how can the playoffs be boring with the Kings around? you should have been game 5 yesterday... easily the most nail biting game in the 2003-04 playoffs... plenty of drama... -

same here... hate the lakers...but unfortunately they make hell of a playoff team what with an unprecedented 4 future hall of famers/Olympic Dream Teamers... and an unstoppable 1-2 punch in Kobe and O'Neal... hope the Spurs will be able to dispose of them (how did they do it last year btw???) as they did last year... i expect at least 6 game series at the least...Originally posted by HENG@:dun like lakers... hope Kings win
i would expect Kings to brush off the Wolves in at most 6 games most probably 5... the wolves being mere cubs where playoffs are concerned and they are so used to losing...

This yr nvr watch playoffs but still great fan of NBA. Have always supported Lakers since Magic days but I gotta agree that the KIngs have been impressive since the last few seasons.
But I still think Lakers would eventually win due to experience..... -

Most probably Pacers will win the Eastern Finals. But Western really tough. All damn strong. But I think Lakers will still win due to experience.

i have been watching NBA about 20 years ago.
when i start watching, lakers, celtics and detroit are the dominate foreces. stars such as michael jordan(very young), Magic johnson, larry bird, kevin mchale, robert parish, isiah thomas, joe dumars, brian scott, dominque wilkins and spud wedd.
i have been long time bulls fans until Michael jordan retire. i also semi retired from the game. guess no one dominate and control the game like he does. KOBI is good but he dont lead the team as michael does.
This season i think timberwolves or San antonio will win whoever win the western conference. eastern conference definitely Pacers. with ron artest, jermaine O'neal, im sorry to say but nets dont stand a chance because they dont have good center forward. Kenyon martin is not a power force as 2 years ago which he and jason kidd lead Nets to NBA finals.
Anyone feeling the NBA nowadays are not as exciting like couple of years ago? it seem the younger generation players lack a center superstar. only Yao Ming seem decent player. i miss those center players like AKeem Olajuwon, Patrick Ewing, Alonso Mourning, robert parish. those were the days. -
