same here... hate the lakers...but unfortunately they make hell of a playoff team what with an unprecedented 4 future hall of famers/Olympic Dream Teamers... and an unstoppable 1-2 punch in Kobe and O'Neal... hope the Spurs will be able to dispose of them (how did they do it last year btw???) as they did last year... i expect at least 6 game series at the least...Originally posted by HENG@:dun like lakers... hope Kings win

wah... nowadays hard to find nba dudes liao... let alone nba dudelettes...Originally posted by Gian Png_Scholesy18:ehh...me not "bro"

Lakers form is pretty good, very strong contender for champions...Originally posted by Origami:Most probably Pacers will win the Eastern Finals. But Western really tough. All damn strong. But I think Lakers will still win due to experience.
Originally posted by ferrar1:that will be where my vote goes too! but may i add on that Kings will emerge the NBA champions! they have too many players who are deserving of a championship like Chris Webber ,Peja, Mike Bibby, etc... pity Bobby Jackson cannot be involved in this campaign... otherwise... it will be a walkover..
I would love to see NBA FINALS: Kings Vs Nets
don't quite think so. their form has been rocky recently, and the spurs are strong. and they will have to contend with kings or wolves?Originally posted by Origami:Most probably Pacers will win the Eastern Finals. Yeah i agree with u. Those days were so exciting. The matchups were always intense. Now I also semi retired.Originally posted by reyes:i have been watching NBA about 20 years ago.
when i start watching, lakers, celtics and detroit are the dominate foreces. stars such as michael jordan(very young), Magic johnson, larry bird, kevin mchale, robert parish, isiah thomas, joe dumars, brian scott, dominque wilkins and spud wedd.
i have been long time bulls fans until Michael jordan retire. i also semi retired from the game. guess no one dominate and control the game like he does. KOBI is good but he dont lead the team as michael does.
This season i think timberwolves or San antonio will win whoever win the western conference. eastern conference definitely Pacers. with ron artest, jermaine O'neal, im sorry to say but nets dont stand a chance because they dont have good center forward. Kenyon martin is not a power force as 2 years ago which he and jason kidd lead Nets to NBA finals.
Anyone feeling the NBA nowadays are not as exciting like couple of years ago? it seem the younger generation players lack a center superstar. only Yao Ming seem decent player. i miss those center players like AKeem Olajuwon, Patrick Ewing, Alonso Mourning, robert parish. those were the days.
I retire liao. But any place or night spots which broadcast basketball matches?Originally posted by Origami:Yeah i agree with u. Those days were so exciting. The matchups were always intense. Now I also semi retired.
I dunno. If there's any I wouldn't mind going to enjoy the atmosphere during the finals.Originally posted by M?square:I retire liao. But any place or night spots which broadcast basketball matches?![]()
