pay for using Soccer field? whats the use?

in singapore there are indeed too many people who can play soccer.. me myself love soccer very much.. a soccer freak indeed.. but always cant find a decent place to play.. it is either without any posts or with posts but without any nettings.. worse come to worse..when we shoot into the goal the ball go straight into the heavy traffic.. why cant the government just set up some public soccer fields for people to play soccer in.. instead of playing in the bball court.. and also dont have to pay.. the last time i went to the field beside Damai sec sch.. it did need booking but it was okie as we were having some friendly game.. but the field is full of dangers.. imagine one metal pole sticking out on the field.. and then one player trips over it and hurt his hand? the worst thing is a rock just in front of the goalpost!!! the goal keeper is sure to hurt himself there.. why the people in charge didnt check the conditions of the field before allowing people to play in there? i am sure there are more hazards in other fields.. paying to play on a field isnt so demanding.. but shouldnt the cost be at a more reasonable price.. and the conditions of the field must also be kept to the best.. as seen it was always not the case.. it is like so ridicue..having to pay but the conditions of the field is simply too horrible.. anybody agree with me?? -
brazilians play in the slums and back alleys with balls made of rubber bands but they have produce great footballers.
Once had a match in the field at clementi it was the rainy season and there was a swimmimg pool in front of the goal post and the whole pitch was muddy. We carry on and play and everyone end up muddy.
If you really want to play and is crazy abt soccer it doesn't matter how the condition of the pitch is.Just play. -

I am actually not saying that the conditions of the fields matter... but since we had paid to play on the field... shouldn't the condition of the field be kept at the very best?

Then pay to play somewhere else lor. There are some public fields that are quite ok but always too many ppl. If your frens very on and willing to pay then try to book sch fields lor. They are in more playable condition.

U cant go very far in singapore with soccer..
Sadz but true..i myself am a soccer fanatic too and i also have my own team.
We use public field for matches with other teams.Although the playing conditions are very bad,we still continue playing.
This is singapore.The government wun use money to invest in something that wun reap benefits. -
They waste a lot of money on the s-league. I dun see any benefit.

just look at the players in S-league play...they are definitely not good at all...just send them to play with the lousiest players in the other countries they might still lose...they say that singapore can aim to enter the world cup in 2010...that is certainly impossible...they wont make it...

i have my own team and often play in booked fields...i would prefer school fields...but will booking be allowed on sunday...because we are often only free on sundays and on weekdays is certainly impossible for us to play soccer...

last time in sch mon - fri skip class play at basketball court. weekend then play on field. Stay in west side so every weekend we go to different location. Have played on most public fields in JurongEast Bukit Batok and Boon Lay.
Most of them are ok but the field in front of IMM got a bit of problem. It's not flat ground in the middle is higher a bit like a hill so you cannot see the goal post from one end to the other.
Now working so stop playing because no energy and time. Those days were enjoyable it still bring back fond memories when i pass by those pitches.

The minds is willing but the flesh is weak. Now old liao play 10 minutes shack out already how to cheong on the field. Better stick to basketball courts.I think stadium is quite expensive. Which part of spore you stay ?

hahaz...icic...is like that de la...although i am only 16 but i still keep myself occupied...by exercising at least 4 times a week so wont get that lousy when i am old lor...hahaz...eh i think should be about 90 dollars an hour...eh i live in the east...very far from where you stay..ahahz...

East has a few nice fields.
Free fields are usually rojak.
When i was 15-20... I played on fields without paying... until the warden chased us away.
Now, we just pay for a field and referee. -
