  Do you miss the malaysia cup? the level of competition, excitement Singapore-Malaysian rivalry. Today's S-league really cannot match-up to it. We have EPL but that's a foreign league after all. If s'pore- malaysia ties improve hope singapore team can play in malaysia cup again.

  I miss the excitement and the fan support...... standard of football in Sleague is around the same.. or maybe better.. And Singapore didnt stop playing in malaysia becuase of ties.. where did you hear that from?
  
  and by the way we'll be many steps back if we go back into the M league again for heaven's sake!!! do you want malaysia to be forever on top of us??
  
  The increase in epl support is because of the media, the television and newspapers... now someone who has never even been to Liverpool or arsenal is supporting them!! can you believe it?? who's the cultprit??

  bro i still have the video of kedah vs singapore malaysia cup in 1993.... you compare it to any other game in S-league today.. same lah....

  No chance to watch this type of beautiful soccer during the 70 and 80's era cos the government have spend so much $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for the stupid S League.
  
  Don't you know nowadays players played for $$$$$$$$$$$$$ unlike the 70 and 80's they played for passion. Just look at the recent results will tell you how they played.
  
  I think the best solution to improve the recent national team is to go back to
  
  BASIC and more BASIC.
