Originally posted by FSJZ:Erm, spotted some bugs. First of all, the tracks are buried under the ballast. This is either caused by me accidentally overwriting files or maybe there are some errors in the coding. I am not sure about this, but I think it can be solved by editing the Track.csv file to increase the height of the rails by 0.15 m as stated by joey earlier. I might be able to do this but it is going to take some time. Secondly, the tracks after Bukit Batok, I think, are straight tracks, which mean they would are not the curved tracks, which Joey wanted it to be. I might be able to change that with a little bit of twitching to the .csv file. Thirdly, the straight tracks used have a different ballast compared to the curved track. I can replace the ballast .bmp and alter the height of the rails to do that. That's all. Now for the good points:
1. Nice rain and fog effect.
2. Nice roof at JUR
3. Nice advertisements on HHPSDs and PSDs
Flip might want to help me to edit those points stated above. You might want to PM me so that we can work together and release version 1.0! *Exciting* That's all for now.
Oh yeah, Joey, good luck working on your Harbourvale City Light Rail! :D
[EDIT] Fourth thing to do, change the signal limit between JUR and Bukit Batok.
I did list a few bugs at my blog (http://joeyfoo.zxq.net/wordpress/20100622/bve-singapore-news-update-22-june-2010/)...
Not only Jurong East to Bukit Batok, it's the whole route.

Really? It is the speed limit or the signal limit. I tried fixing it yesterday and it works. The signal limit is now unlimited.

Stomp is always the good place to get information, when in doubt.

LOL!!
the last 8 PSDs of bishan still not working as per normal.

Joey didn't include the updated PSD in the release, or should I say I didn't even send him the PSD.
What to expect for version 1 of NSL?
Lol it also rained in the train?

No Idea

Yes.

lol. the trains aren't water proof.
Originally posted by Funkymark4211:lol. the trains aren't water proof.
How can it be? You mean the rain seeped into the train? Or you mean it is a bug and the train is just like invisible to the rain, so the rain just pass right through? LOL, the train is so big enough to have its own mini weather system. :P
Any news? BSH-MRB still on-hold?

We will not be continuing to MRB currently. For now, the release version is JUR-BSH. We would complete all the TSS (Track Side Scenery) and station objects between JUR-BSH, before continuing to MRB. For now, don't expect a release to MRB. Instead, expect more scenery and objects. Cheers :P

In a rude but nicer + straight-foward way: Nobody said it's on hold, and nobody said we're extending.

Some BVE routes also like that. They put a static raindrop there, then I stared wide-eyed at the train."Rain"just seeped in.All static objects also the same one.

Very funny huh.

It is funny. =D
The raindrops are not "aware" of the train, it's just a face filled with dots, and animated to move downward quickly.
lolz.

Remember to add crossovers too. Not me.

Oh yeah! I think I have found a solution to the buried rails. It looks like the viaduct itself has a ballast image loaded, so the viaduct's ballast overlaps the current rail ballast. It could be solved by removing the load texture command for the viaduct.csv file. Trying it out, might not work.

Sorry, the solution is editing the rails to raise them 0.15m, and also removing the TRACK's ballast image.

No, it can be solved simply by removing the track's ballast image. There is not a need to raise the rails by 0.15m.
