There's a route and train section, above is the route section, while below is the train section, you must use the directory at the train section, then direct it to your train, then it should locate the train by then. Welcome to SgForums!

Are you referring to openBVE or BVE 2/4?
EDIT: 355th post.

Welcome Private Microsoft to sgForums!
First, you have to download a rolling stock of the line (C151, C651, C751B) into this directory (C:\Program Files\OpenBVE\Data\Train) from the respectively threads in the forum.
Then, open up OpenBVE and select your route. Do the same thing to the train (except this time select the train of your choice). Start playing the route and give feedback. Any constructive feedback is greatly appreciated!
If you have further problems, please post at this thread. Thank you!

Why? I disagree as the default should be Data\XXX.
To Private Microsoft : Your C151, C651 or C751B should be installed in Data\Trains.

Because all my routes/objects/sounds are in the Railway folder only.
Argh, because NSL is Railway, and EWL is Data, then hard to merge leh...
And I prefer WinZip than WinRar, because WinRar dosent extract where you want the folder to be, If I want to extract the folder Data/Railway<-This Folder, when I extract to Railway, got new folder called Data, and WinZip has an easy extraction, what do you think?

The alternative method is to use openBVE. It works just like BVE4 but more compatitable and has more functions. Head here for more details.

You can download OpenBVE, which is more compatible. Then, download the route into (C:\Program Files\OpenBVE\Data\Railway). Also, download the train into (C:\Program Files\OpenBVE\Data\Train). Then run OpenBVE and open the route file in the route selection box and open the train file in the train selection box. It should work now! Check back if you need anymore help. :P

Not diffifculty, you just do this:
Open the .7z file using 7Zip (Recommended) or WinRAR or WinZip (Not recommended as the compression rate sucks, and by Windows XP onwards there is a built-in WinZip, so there is no point for it and yes, EWL uses 7zip format as it is free & open source without forgetting the better compression ratio, which allows us to provide the file in a smaller size, benefitting our server load and your download time.). You will see a Data folder in it, double click which will open it, then later you will see the railway folder. Drag that out and your are done.
Ok, since you have suggested, I will discuss it with my co-developers for their opinions.

Run the route in the Railway\Route\Bham_Xcity_South folder

If you are using Windows Vista or above, it is not officially supported (I mean it is NOT supported in official statement but there is a workaround by finding relevant DLLs that is found on Windows XP or so.)

Try looking on the OpenBVE homepage. There are some tutorials to help you get through.
