I recommend to not use trains like C651,C751B etc.
Most recommended is C151 v0.6(The no seat and panels train)
If still doesn't work, maybe it is the route.Use routes more like the CGA-TNM etc.(Don't try Airport Express Line as it has lots of objects which makes the route lag.
If still doesn't work.If you are using a laptop please change to a computer.
If still doesn't work.I don't have anymore solutions.

If computer specs worse than the lappy,
Change laptop to computer is not a good idea. More better buying a HDD (storage device bigger than thumbdrive) cost $100++ than computer cost $1000/$2000++.

I actually changed from laptop to computer. It works completely well now on computer.

Well, but a computer usually comes with a better graphics which the laptop cant do due to heat / battery consumption consideration on the go. With a lousier graphics on laptop, it usually wont do well for (open)BVE even if you have a 64bit OS (4GB RAM + Intel Core 2 Duo or similar class 64bit CPU. PS: Under 4GB RAM still can have 64bit OS so long as with a 64bit CPU but does not take advantage of 64bit computing that handles more RAM.), which is happening to me where I self-pwned the EWL is lagging especially Bugis - Raffles Place due to advanced tunneling and TBM style in between CTH - RFP.
Eh, I advertise my own work progress le. :D
In short, a bigger HDD can indeed store more routes and trains, but if your computer / laptop is lagging like hell, what the hell you get a better HDD to store these high quality routes when you cannot enjoy them well? (I know HDD free space can be used for swap memory, as known as a "replacement" or a proper term, virtual memory, but that is slower than real RAM which is not very good for HDD anyway.)
Additional storage space will not help. It's the processing power of the graphic card, not RAM/Virtual Memory space.
Try updating your graphic driver, chances are that those included by the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) are not up-to-date.

No wonder you take so long to reply to posts. In conclusion, a computer is possibly better than the laptop, you promote your routes in your posts and you should get a bigger memory space or RAM instead of buying a HDD. Either that or upgrade your graphics card. Idk. I'm confused...
Edit: More details from Joeys post and spelling edits.
Well, you have to consider that RAM is easier to upgrade and cheaper than Graphics card, though you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
Is like:
Upgrade HDD (No / Minimal help [Virtual Memory so low until jialat? Most likely is configuration issue]) -> Upgrade RAM (Some help, but even my 4GB lappy also can lag on my route, so it tells everything) -> Upgrade GPU (The answer, but expensive)
Actually, CPU also plays a part, since for me, the CPU usage is like 50% while running openBVE only. (Adds other thing then full le)

Damn this complex talk. Once again (Guessing) In Conclusion, Upgrade GPU is you're rich, Upgrade RAM for a minimal amount of help and Upgrade HDD to waste the most money..

If you read what I wrote, updating your driver (it's a software) will be free, and effective.

But the downside is not always got such updates and in the end, you better off change a graphic card if possible.

The Openbve mine will lag at last time during the openbve releases 1.6++.Now using the 1.10.0 release , it wont lag so much , quite fast alr
Well, I find one thing interesting:
While there is little progress on real life projects such as C151 or C751B or EWL or NSL (Except recently) all the while, I am lost on fictional lines, partially there are more than 1 fictional city and I am not sure if their rolling stock / lines have released.
Can any kind soul summarize the happenings on these fictional cities as part of my plan to release a new version of OpenBVE for Dummies (Note: That dummy pack so far is almost 200MB, unlike a train such as C651, it is impossible for me to keep that as archive, consider that more lines and rolling stocks are coming up, with even better quality objects to existing lines, it is matter of time that this dummy pack has to split into multiple archive or so.)
New plan: I may release a new version of dummy pack every half a year or so starting from the next release (Prefably December and June, where it is my vacations), where I read it as a summary of the progress over the 6 months in the BVESG world.
Separate the dummy pack into two, openBVE for fake dummies, and openBVE for real dummies.

Care to explain?

Those who are complete dummies who always ask questions and completely no knowledge of OpenBVE at all.. The other is for people who already know how to use OpenBVE and What OpenBVE Is. Only Want to download the SG Routes and Trains but donno how.. Also, I strongly suggest you create a Developer's Guide to OpenBVE for Dummies who Donno how to edit or create OpenBVE Routes/Trains (Like me for routes.).

I would like to write guide, but everyone knows my posting style sibeh long one. So cannot. Anyway, there is already tutorial on how to edit BVE4 routes, and you can base on it. Every true developer has more or less walk that stage before.

Oh ok. But for your Si Beh long posts, You can break it up to make it less complex, easier to read and understand. Most of your long posts will some how direct to something you're developing!
Edit: Luckily I saved the link to the Dennis Lance Free Webs Developing Site. The link disappeared to donno which page alr.
question: how do you acivate "15~20 fps"?

Ctrl + X.
I want NickGoh 45 to make NW1 HL13 South Coast from the way it is to something like CCL Paya Lebar without FHPSDs, just HHPSDs or a yellow line, as those Harbourvale residents who want to go to Lakeview, for example, from Wynyard, have to alight at South Coast, take the stairs from that platform to the concourse and take another staircase to NWL platform.
That sounds inconvenient, right? And they will complain.

But the NWL Platform is right next to the Harbourvale bound train! And there's no middle platform. I think you got your station name wrong.

I know, but current configuration will cause people on the Blackton Junction bound train to alight at South Coast, take the stairs from that platform to the concourse and take another staircase to the NWL Platform. Inconvenient, right?
And the station name is South Coast... and at the first line I said,
"...from the way it is to something like CCL Paya Lebar..." not that I said that it has middle platforms.

But this is transferring to another line.It is something similar to Paya Lebar station.Example:Pretend South Coast is Paya Lebar. You want to transfer to CCL.Paya Lebar EWL is aboveground same goes to South Coast HBV line. You just need to take the escalator/lift to the CCL since CCL is underground same goes to South Coast NWL it is underground sn station. So,in conclusion,South Coast station resembles the same transferring of lines like Paya Lebar station.Isn't it the same???Correct me if I'm wrong.
