Alright, some updates to a half-dead project. I shall use it in terms of "I am a commuter of Airport Express Line" instead of "I am a player of Airport Express Line".
"Wow! New signboards put up! Thanks HCRT! I love those new signboards that tell which direction that we are going, instead of just those acrylic signs on the barriers! And also, wow! New cover for the system map! And also, cool, new announcement style! And oooohhh, the signboard that tells which station you are at, and you are heading towards which station!"
Have a quick guess on what those are! Other than those, some other few updates after the released version is 3D-fied PSD at AE1 Platform A (really really incompleted, I didn't really find time to do it), RATIS (with "live" clock) and also (nothing).
Beta testing of timetables (images on signboards) will be at AE1 Stadium too.
Don't expect the release to be early too, because the developer is not available at this moment of time, so yeah.

1st Update of Airport Express Line (v1.02)
Okay, so I've tested the new route by Flip, and it seems fine. So I guess I'll make a public release of it. The changelog is as of follow:
- Gradients have finally been added to the route.
- 3D PSDs have been installed at AE1 Stadium. This is to allow the public to give feedback on it.
- The Harbourvale City MRT system map has been integrated withmore signboards with journey information.
- The curves of some sections of the track have been smoothened out.
- New 3D advertisement objects and tunnel wall signs in stations have been added.
- Announcements have been edited and the positions in which arrival announcements are played in the route have been moved forward.
NOTE: Please delete the object files of v0.983, before extracting the new v1.02 object files into the AEL objects folder. Thank you!

Either the file is too big or my internet is so slow. It took me 30 minutes to download the update...
Suggestion: Just do a patch like last time C651 door patch etc. not the whole thing. Like 3D psd in the psd folder and route csv file

Fairly big changes, so no use / not feasible.

Both caused it, but it took me only 24 minutes to download it.
Patch will only happens when the contents are just minor ones.

This is likely due to the fact that you did not delete the AEL object folder before installing the new update. You should delete your AEL object folder again, and then re-extract the update into the objects folder. -

Because I've added ~40 objects into the latest version.
(Okay not really 40, but it gets to 40 when you do count by another method)

Any feedback or suggestions for the 3D PSD? If there aren't any feedback or suggestion, I'll be calling that 3D PSD "finalised" and then implement on all stations.
3D HHPSD will be done after my exams so don't wait for it. Just note how long I did one 3D PSD.

Alright it's been a full one day plus plus plus, and nobody gave feedback and stuffs, since it's in the midist of exam period, but I'm going on ahead to implement the 3D PSD at all 3 stations, with some goodies installed :P

Anyways:
Exhibition Centre and Airport stations on the Airport Express Line will be closed on 9th and 10th October 2010 for retrofitting of 3D PSDs. Stadium station platform B will also be closed on 9th October 2010 for retrofitting of 3D PSDs.
Train services at Stadium station platform A and East Harbour station will be unaffected. Trains will run at slower speeds when going through these two stations. (NOT RM THANK YOU LOL! THIS AIN'T JEMP!)
/thisoneihastoseekpermissionfromceo: Have you seen the give way signs on the screen doors at Stadium? Yes! It's a new campaign, "Love Your Ride" (LOL), featuring (not telling) giving way and blahblahblah. Currently, only Stadium platform A has it. (More details next time, once I have permission)
[EDIT] /ihassoughtpermission and /can Okay, I'll be trying to paste some of that thing I mentioned, onto some other stations, to test out. I'll be trying out one special announcement too, but it might fail.

Well, I doubt it's nice to see speed limit signs, but you can check by pressing F11. (or F10, I forgot)
