Firewall-ed yes, for sites that 'they' don't like, like illegal download sites or the like. But the sites that are banned are mostly porn sites or sites deemed (predominantly) sexual in nature, so your that friend...... =X

we were chatting via FB and i asked if he was in the office; his reply was FB was firewall-ed in office and he was home. there were a few times we were chatting while he was in brunei -
