The search for the man who fell into the Singapore River near Coleman Bridge has been called off.
The man is believed to be in his 30s.
Police received a call at around 5.40 this morning and divers from the Singapore Navy were brought in to search for the man.
The divers were unable to find him and the search was called off at 12.30 pm.
Callers to the Mediacorp news hotline said they saw many police cars and fire engines at the Singapore river near River Valley this morning.

Found: Body of Man who Fell into Singapore River
The body of a man who fell into the Singapore River on Saturday morning, has been found.
Police were alerted to it on Sunday morningĀ at 9.30, nearly 24 hours after divers from the Singapore Navy had called off the search.
The body was found floating in the river, 10 metres from shore, near The Riverwalk building.
Police later confirmed that the body was that of the 35-year-old male, who was a Sikh.
He had fallen into the river near Coleman Bridge.
Police have classified the case as unnatural death
