A general practitioner has been struck off the Register of Medical Practitioners for a second time.
This after a disciplinary inquiry convened by the Singapore Medical Council, found 58 year old Dr Tan Bin Seng to have inappropriately prescribed hypnotic medication to his patients.
The last time such an action was taken against him was in 1993 when he was disciplined over similar charges.
He was restored to the Register some two years later after he promised to better manage and treat his patients..
Dr Tan, who faced 21 charges of professional misconduct in this latest disciplinary inquiry, contested all the charges.
He practices at Occupational Health Clinic located at Blk 537 Bedok North Street 3.
