Bangledeshi worker falls to death during lift upgrading
A Bangledeshi foreign worker in his late 30s fell to his death as he was carrying out lift upgrading works at Block 113, Clementi Street 13.
The SCDF received a call at about 6.20pm yesterday.
On arrival, they found the worker wedged between the lift shaft wall and the lift itself.
Officers had to hoist his body up using a pulley from the lift shaft.
He was pronounced dead on the spot.
