22 S'poreans survive bus crash in Genting Highlands

A bus load of passengers including 22 Singaporeans and 5 Malaysians cheated death after the bus they were in skidded and crashed into two cars before landing on its side at Jalan Genting Highlands.
Malaysia's New Straits Times website reported that the passengers suffered minor injuries and received outpatient treatment at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
Bentong police chief Superintendent Rosli Abdul Rahman said the bus was heading towards Kuala Lumpur when it developed brake problems.
He said the bus was travelling downhill when it collided with a Proton Gen-2, skidded to the opposite side of the road and crashed into a Nissan Sentra, before hitting the road barrier and landing on its side.
Rosli said all passengers were helped out of the wreck by passers-by and rushed to the hospital.
The driver, identified as Rajan Manan, a drive for the past 13 years, blamed the incident on brake failure.
The 41-year-old was trapped in the wreck and had to be pulled out by Fire and Rescue Department personnel.

International SOS brings back four Sporeans injured in Genting bus crash
The International S-O-S has brought back four Singaporeans injured in the bus crash in Genting.
The crash occurred yesterday while the bus was coming down from Genting Highlands.
Three ground ambulances left Kuala Lumpur at 11 last night to bring back the two families.
One of those injured is a 44 year old woman who sustained head injuries , as well as with her 20-year-old daughter.
The other family consists of a mother and her young child.
All four arrived at 4 this morning via ground ambulances and were taken to two separate hospitals here.

I went once to Genting when I was about 8 years old ba...
I didn't know anything other than vomiting non-stop.

Heard about the italian couple who escaped death from the France plane crash, only to die in a car accident 1 week later?? So, will Final Destination strike again to the survivors of the genting bus crash??

lolOT: i saw 2 accidents n my way from KL to Ipoh on my relative's car.
1. A 3.6t truck skidded and crashed onto e central divider. Landed on 1 side. All e fruits spill. Driver OK.
2. A Toyota Unser skided and crashed. Same case as above. The car body crumbled.
All on e same federal highway.
